The Village of Mount Prospect ("Village"), Illinois is seeking a response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from environmental graphic design consultants for the design and development of three (3) monument signs located at strategic locations within the Village. Such RFP includes detailed design drawings with specific details of each type of sign which will culminate in the final design and construction cost estimate for the following: One (1) Village gateway entry sign located in South Mount Prospect along the east side of Busse Road, just north of the Jane Adams Memorial Tollway Road (I-90). Two (2) monument signs for the Kensington Business Center located at the intersections of Rand Road/Business Center Drive and Feehanville Drive/Wolf Road. The Connect South Mount Prospect: 2020 Sub-Area Plan identifies a general location as an opportunity site for gateway signage to strengthen South Mount Prospects identity and brand image within the overall Village. Two (2) existing monument signs for the Kensington Business Center have been identified as signs that require updating and/or replacement. Based on a review of proposal materials, the Village will select a short list of design firms to interview. After the interviews, the Village will select a preferred consultant to conduct a design process culminating in a final design and construction cost estimate for the identified signs.
