This is an annual program to replace wastewater assets that have failed or reached end of useful life. This program differs from ongoing maintenance programs in that the equipment, facilities, and labor attributed to these assets constitute a replacement of a capitalized asset. Assets to be replaced or upgraded under this program include, but are not limited to mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems, treatment plant and lift station equipment, generators, and collection system assets that with replacement will extend the life of the associated system or facility. Items to be replaced each year will be prioritized using ongoing condition assessments and the asset management policies of the District. The project is included in the El Dorado Irrigation District's FY 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
