The El Dorado Hills and Deer Creek Wastewater Treatment Plants both utilize a belt press to dewater solids from the treatment process. Both belt presses are past their useful life and are showing signs of deterioration. This project will analyze available soilds handling technologies and construct a cost effective solution to replace the belt press units. The project is included in the El Dorado Irrigation District's FY 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of February 9, 2024, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in 2026/2027.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
