Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Stockton, California. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
As of May 13, 2024, no bids were received for this project. No definite date for the rebid. Prep and complete the installation of a 203' x 125' asphalt pad with fence removal and perimeter light pole removal/relocation. The successful firm will provide complete installation of asphalt (including the initial layer of sealcoating after the asphalt has cured), including all reasonable and necessary labor, supervision, testing, equipment, and supplies. The contracted area is located at 2731 East Myrtle Street. Site Visit and Quotation Submittal Quotes indicating price, materials, measures, and material samples/catalogs must be received before February 24, 2024. Quotes submitted after this period or considered incomplete will not be considered in the competition. Questions may be sent by mail to Sdonelson@sjRTD.com during the first five (5) days after the site visit. Answers will be submitted in writing only to vendors who were present during the site visit. This Scope of Work (SOW) is governed by the specifications described herein, the terms, conditions, and requirements found in the contract documentation, and the firm's bid proposal. San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) would like to have the work started on April 1, 2024, and must be completed by April 28, 2024. Once awarded the contract, the Contractor will actively coordinate project duration and schedule with RTD's Project Manager to minimize any operational and safety impacts. The Contractor's scope of work includes the following: a. Review Phase I & II Environmental reports and prepare soil to accept asphalt as outlined in this scope. The Contractor may be required to conduct environmental surveys, reports, and sampling to acquire permits or to meet Federal, State, and local requirements for this project. a. Recent environmental reports to be provided by RTD. b. Contractor is responsible for Permits needed to complete this project as outlined in this Scope of Work. c. The Contracted area is approximately 203 feet in length by 125 feet wide. d. The Contractor may be required to remove dirt from the area before installing additional road-base/asphalt. e. Remove approximately two hundred (200) linear feet of fencing. Carefully remove the fencing so RTD may reuse it at a later time. f. Remove approximately two hundred (200) linear feet of cement curbing. g. Remove approximately four hundred (400) square feet of grass and irrigation. a. Properly capping water pipes and lines b. Irrigation electrical wiring shall remain intact and properly secured per OEM procedures when removing irrigation stations. h.
