Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Drumbo, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work comprises of the reconstruction of Roper Street East, Cowan Street West, Gissing Street West, McQueen Street North and Main Street North. The work includes but is not limited to the following: - 15,185 sq.m of road asphalt removal - 330 sq.m of concrete sidewalk removal - 2,320 tonnes of HL8 base asphalt - 6,956 tonnes of Granular A -16,230 tonnes of Granular B - 2,217m of new storm sewer varying from 250mm to 825mm dia. with storm structures - 612m of 1.5m wide concrete sidewalk - 3,900m of concrete curb This contract has no sanitary sewers and limited watermain work. Preference will be given to local contractors who have worked within the County of Oxford.
