Small and medium-sized projects throughout the Sixty-two (62) facilities. These are divided into Six (6) geographical regions and as such, tender will be awarded by region: 1-GTA (Toronto, Peel, Halton, York, Durham); 2-East (Peterborough); 3-North (Simcoe county); 4-West (Waterloo - Wellington); 5-South-West (Hamilton, Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk); 6-South (Lincoln, Niagara). TIMELINE: A Request For Qualifications from Architectural Services has been issued by the owner. The Board wishes to prequalify architectural firms to conduct various studies, and to consult on renewal, alterations, repairs, upgrades, renovations, constructions and modernization projects with budgets of up to One million dollars (CAD $1,000,000). Although not limited to the following, the architect responsibilities may include the following: (a) Feasibility studies (b) Design concepts, both interior and exterior (c) Meetings with the school committees and general public when applicable (d) Drawings and specifications (e) Tender and contract documents preparation (CCDC-2, etc.) (f) Contract administration services (g) Project management, site reviews and inspections (h) Quality control and assurance (i) Site meetings with contractors and Owner Representatives (j) Closing of deficiencies (k) Address city permits, and fire department approval as required.
