Renovation of a civil project in Kent, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the following major elements: installation of new boilers and heat exchangers for a municipal wastewater anaerobic digester, construction of a new boiler and electrical building, replacement of digester pumping equipment, and piping, electrical, and utility improvements. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The City of Kent is receiving funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for this project. The City is also applying for funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) through the Ohio Department of Development. The requirements for Bidders, Contractors, and Subcontractors are explained in Procurement Requirements, Forms, and Supplements. Question Deadline 02/29/2024 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Zak Kaczor, P.E., zkaczor@ctiengr.com; CTI Engineers, Inc., and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
