CR Number: 2106183 Letchworth North Maintenance Building - General Construction Contract D006160 General Construction Contract Goals: MBE 23%, WBE 7%, SDVOB 6% D006160 General Construction Contract related to the construction of the North Maintenance Building at Letchworth State Park. The General Construction Contract generally consists of site improvements and landscaping; storm drainage; sanitary sewer components; concrete foundations; CMU walls; metal stud partitions; wood frame roof structure; insulation; metal roofing; windows, doors, and door hardware; interior finishes including gypsum board, ceramic tile and paint; bathroom accessories. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a scanned Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: D006160- $367,715.99 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond/Payment Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. The completion date for this project is 550 Days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller's Office. Construction of a New Maintenance Building at the Perry Entrance located in Letchworth State Park. The structure will be a single story, Pre-Engineered Metal Building of Type IIB construction. 2. Site utilities, civil and landscape work. 3. Concrete slabs on grade and foundations. 4. Masonry and wood framed walls and partitions. 5. Ceramic tiling. 6. Aluminum door and window systems. 7. Exterior siding and stone finishes. 8. Metal roofing. 9. Paint and finishes. 10. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing. A. Work of the General Construction Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Remaining work not identified as work under other contracts. 2. Schedule maintenance and coordination with other prime contracts. 3. Site preparation, including clearing, building demolition, and earthwork. 4. Locate existing permanent benchmarks, control points, and similar reference points, including those needed for building layout, and establish permanent benchmarks on Project sites. 5. Site improvements, including roadways, parking lots, pedestrian paving, site development furnishings and equipment, septic installation, permanent fencing and landscaping. 6. Site hydronic distribution. 7. All foundation drains, including excavation, earth materials, backfill, and compaction. 8. All surface and storm drainage, including excavation, earth materials, backfill, and compaction. 9. Tunnels/ Trenching for site utilities. 10. Rough and finish grades; topsoil, plantings, and establish turf, including surface restoration of trench work by other contracts. 11. Selective demolition. 12. Foundations, including footings, foundation walls, foundation drains. 13. Slabs-on-grade, including earthwork, subdrainage systems, and insulation. 14. Below-grade building construction, including excavation, backfill, and insulation and waterproofing/dampproofing. 15. Superstructure, including floor and roof construction. 16. Exterior closure, including masonry, insulation, walls, doors, windows, and louvers. 17. Roofing, including roof insulation, coverings, flashings, roof specialties, roof accessories.. 18. Interior construction, including partitions, doors, interior glazed openings, and fittings. 19. Fire-protection specialties. 20. Stairs, including railings and finishes. 21. Interior finishes finish carpentry, architectural woodwork interior specialties, and floor and ceiling finishes. 22. Miscellaneous items. 23. Conveying systems if selected by Directors Representative as part of Alternate 1 for General Construction Contract. 24. Furnishings, including casework, window treatments, floor grilles and mats, and, seating, desks, FFE per drawings. 25. Toilet partitions, bathroom accessories, and restroom signs. 26. Cooperate and coordinate with Owner's inspection and testing agency. 27. Project closeout procedures, including thorough final cleaning of all buildings. 28. Work of the General Construction Contract generally includes, but is not limited to, all or portions of work shown on the following drawings as listed on project cover page under General Construction Contract D006160. 29. Work of the General Construction Contract generally includes, but is not limited to, work described in the following specification sections: Division 01 General Requirements, Division 02 through Division 12, Division 31, Division 32, and Division 33. 30. Review all drawings and specifications to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the project and for the purpose of coordinating with other contracts and trades. B. Temporary facilities and controls in the General Construction Contract include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Temporary facilities and controls that are not otherwise specifically assigned to the Plumbing Contract HVAC Contract Electrical Contract. 2. Sediment and erosion control. 3. Temporary protection of trees and plants to remain. 4. Unpiped sewers and drainage, including drainage ditches, dry wells, stabilization ponds, and containers. 5. Stormwater control. 6. Unpiped temporary toilet fixtures, wash facilities, and drinking water facilities, including disposable supplies. 7. Temporary enclosure for building exterior, except as indicated. 8. Temporary roads and paved areas. 9. Excavation support and protection, unless required solely for the Work of another contract. 10. Project identification and temporary signs. 11. General waste disposal facilities. 12. Pest control. 13. Temporary stairs. 14. Temporary fire-protection facilities. 15. Barricades, warning signs, and lights. 16. Site enclosure fence. 17. Environmental protection. 18. Restoration of Owner's existing facilities used as temporary facilities
