This project is for the construction of a new fishing pier at the Lofton Reservoir. The new pier is comprised of untreated sawn and glued-laminated timbers beams, supported by drilled in piles. The work includes but is not limited to installing scour countermeasures at existing abutment (lean concrete), rock armoring at abutment, approach path modifications with crushed aggregate and asphalt surfacing, erosion control, traffic control, pier timber superstructure, drilled in piles, and all other items necessary to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Payment Bond (100%) will be required of awardee for an award between $35,000 and $150,000. A post award conference with the successful offeror is required. It will be scheduled and held within 15 days after the date of contract award. The conference will be held via Microsoft Teams. PROJECT LOCATION The project is located in the Lakeview Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest, Lake County, Oregon. The Lofton Fishing Pier site lies south of the Quartz Mountain Sno-Park on the Paisley Ranger District approximately 21 miles east of Bly, Oregon. The site is located off Forest Development Road 3715, T.38S., R.16E., Sec. 22, Willamette Meridian. Latitude: 42.263342 Longitude: -120.819665 One Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract will be awarded. The contract period of performance is anticipated to be August 1st, 2024 - December 31st, 2024. The magnitude of this construction project is between $ 25,000 and $100,000. All offerors will be required to provide a Payment Bond (100%) for awards between $35,000 and $150,000. Note: Per FAR 52.204-7(b)(1), System for Award Management (SAM), an Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer and shall continue to be registered until the time of award, during the performance, and through final payment for any contract resulting from this solicitation.
