Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Lakeview, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The scope of work being considered is: 1. Rehabilitation of Taxiway B and a portion of Taxiway A (Approximately 19,500 SY); a. Narrow crack Repair; b. Wide crack repair; c. Asphalt repair; d. Surface Seal; and e. Demolition and replacement of pavement markings; The Contract Documents for the above project may be examined at the Lake County Office, 513 Center Street, Lakeview, OR 97630 on working days, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed in favor of Lake County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Each Bidder must supply all information required by the bid documents and specifications. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price. The EEO requirements, labor provisions, and wage rates are included in the specifications and bid documents. Each Bidder must complete, sign, and furnish with their bid a "Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities" and a statement entitled "Bidders Statement on Previous Contracts Subject to EEO Clause," as contained in the Bid Proposal. A Contractor having 50 or more employees and their subcontractors having 50 or more employees and who may be awarded a subcontract of $50,000 or more will be required to maintain an affirmative action program, the standards for which are contained in the specifications. To be eligible for award, each Bidder must complete the affirmative action requirements which are contained in the specifications. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award of any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement. In accordance with federal requirements, Lake County has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract goal of 7.4%, in compliance with their 49 CFR Part 26 program. The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon Bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53. Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed in favor of Lake County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Each Bidder must supply all information required by the bid documents and specifications. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price Lake County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of Lake County. Lake County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding by Lake County that it is in the public interest to do so.
