2023 CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Program The contract for the 2023 CDBG grant will be for the two-year term of the grant. he City of Batavia is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide community development, program delivery, and administrative services to assist the City to implement a Citywide housing rehabilitation program funded under a recently 2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The activities requested include administering a Residential Rehabilitation Program for homeowners in the City of Batavia. For this project, the selected firm will assist the City to monitor and supervise all CDBG program activities, including but not limited to program planning; scheduling of activities; compliance with CDBG regulations; fiscal monitoring; preparation of Performance Assessment Reports; and coordination with field representatives of the NYS Office of Community Renewal (OCR). It is expected that the City of Batavia will provide program delivery services for individual residential rehabilitation projects in coordination with the selected firm. Similarly, the City may also assist the selected firm with some administrative work. The selected firm will assist the City to manage and utilize the funds, consistent with CDBG program regulations. The City has developed guidelines, forms and contract documents for the implementation of the housing rehabilitation undertaken with the CDBG funds.
