All bids shall be subject to the conditions of the Competitive Bid Law for the State of Alabama. Bids submitted which do not conform to the requirements hereof, or wherein the specifications have been changed, will be subject to rejection on the grounds of not conforming to specifications as herein contained. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and clearly marked Delivery of Stone Base Materials to Hampton Inn Project, name, and address of bidding company. Bidders shall acknowledge any Addenda issued on the outside of the Bidding envelope. An addendum shall not be addressed within (5) days of the scheduled sealed bid opening. The Evergreen City Council shall award the contract. A bid bond and performance bond is not required. The purchase of specified materials by the City of Evergreen shall meet requirements of The Constitution of the State of Alabama Amendment 772 as ratified for the Promotion of Economic and Industrial Development. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any proposal, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the City of Evergreen. City reserves the right to determine the competence and responsibility of the proposing company from its knowledge of the bidders qualifications and from other resources. Contractor is responsible for any licenses or permits necessary to perform the work. Evidence of insurability shall be required in the contract document including Employers Liability, Public Liability, and Property Damage Insurance at $1,000,000.00 each, and Workers Compensation at $500,000.00. The project is located at 128 Liberty Hill Place, Evergreen, Alabama. The scope of work is delivery of (900) tons ALDOT Section 301-A Crushed Aggregate Base Course Plant Mixed in compliance with ALDOT Standard 825-B stone comprised of a mixture of approximately 50% ALDOT 410 stone and approximately 50% ALDOT No. 810 stone. Review ALDOT (d) Coarse Aggregate Gradation Table, Table of ALDOT Coarse Aggregate Sizes for No. 410 & No. 810. The delivery schedule is detailed in the project specifications. Notice is hereby given that L&K Contracting Company, Inc., 4506 Hartford Hwy, Taylor, AL 36305 has completed all work on the Roadway Improvements, CDBG Project No. SM-CM-PF-22-004, in Conecuh County, Alabama. All persons having any claim for labor, materials, or otherwise in connection with this project should immediately notify the above named contractor and the Probate Judge of Conecuh County.
