Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dobbin, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Demolition of the existing lift station site and construction of a proposed twelve-foot (12') diameter submersible lift station including but not limited to a wet well, three (3) submersible pumps with accessories, associated piping, valves, header and force main; manhole; influent sanitary sewer line; a potable water line with backflow preventer; concrete pavement; Natural Gas Powered Emergency Generator, automatic transfer switch, electrical duct banks, conduit, wiring, starters, breakers, control panel; site grading; fence, dewatering, trench safety, and all other items as necessary for a complete functioning lift station. The deadline to ask questions is 2/29/2024 12:00 PM CST. Questions for this project will be accepted up until noon the Thursday prior to Bid Opening. Responses to questions will be provided in addendum form in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No responses will be provided through the online Q/A platform. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of two percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price. When Contractor delivers the signed counterparts of the Agreement to Owner, Contractor shall also deliver to Owner the performance bond and payment bond (if the Contract requires Contractor to furnish such bonds). Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Times (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, Contractor shall pay Owner $750.00 for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. Liquidated damages for failing to timely attain Substantial Completion and final completion are not additive and will not be imposed concurrently.
