Site work for a civil project in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project would include the installation of approximately 9,000 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch vitrified clay pipe gravity sewer, a new 660 gallon per minute duplex submersible pump station, and approximately 4,000 LF of 10-inch ductile iron pipe force main. The selected engineering firm will provide all designs and documents necessary for permitting, easement acquisition, construction, and bidding. The selected firm will also likely provide construction administration on the project. Note that the 10% goal for participation by minority and women-owned businesses established for this service applies to the entirety of the project (including construction administration services on this project). Additionally, failure to provide the following with proposal could be considered as non-responsive and the proposal may not be considered. The City reserves the right to terminate negotiations with the selected firm(s) and proceed to negotiate with other firm(s) should contract/fee negotiations fail. Once a firm is selected, a detailed scope of services (broken down by specific milestone events/deliverables), and associated fee proposal, and implementation schedule will be refined, agreed to and once signed, will be identified and attached to the City's standard professional services agreement form.
