Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Southport, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The intent of this RFQ is to obtain offers to complete construction of new accessible washrooms in the Central Plains RecPlex as specified below, for Southport Aerospace Centre Inc. (the Owner), located at Southport, Manitoba. Southport Aerospace Centre Inc. will consider the environmental performance of our suppliers and the environmental attributes of products and services in our purchasing decisions. The following is the scope of work for the construction of two new accessible washrooms. The new construction must meet code for accessibility fully. See Appendix A for Project Rendering. .1 Demolish existing fixtures, walls, curbs as necessary, and dispose of. .2 Frame new interior walls. .3 Install drywall. Finished, taped, and painted. .4 Supply and install steel frame entry door with accessible entry. .5 Supply and install commercial grade accessible fixtures with automatic flush toilets and faucets in both washrooms. .6 Supply and install grab bars. .7 Supply and install mirrors in each washroom. Must meet accessibility requirements. .8 Supply and install flooring. .9 Disconnect and reinstall plumbing. .10 Installation of new electrical for proper lighting. .11 Construct new access point to crawl space.
