The County is seeking quotations for the construction of rehabilitation for arterial roads within Strathcona County. The Deliverables will be conducted in years and include but are not limited to, milling of the existing asphalt, asphalt overlay, sections of base repair, reconstruction, and spot concrete repairs. It is the County’s intent that once a successful respondent is selected by the County, it will be requested to enter into direct agreement with the County for the provision of the Year 1 Deliverables as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Year 1 Deliverables”). After completion of the Year 1 Deliverables, the County, at its discretion, may engage the successful respondent for Year 2 Deliverables and Year 3 Deliverables as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Year 2 Deliverables” and the “Year 3 Deliverables”). For clarity, references to “Deliverables” in this RFQ refer to the Year 1 Deliverables, the Year 2 Deliverables and the Year 3 Deliverables. The Deliverables that may be performed by the Supplier generally include the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure at various locations within the County by milling existing asphalt, asphalt overlay, sections of base repair, reconstruction, and spot concrete repairs. More specifically, the Deliverables include but are not limited to: spot concrete removal and replacement including relocation of barrier curb and islands; milling deficient asphalt surfaces to specified depths. The Supplier must cold mill transverse tie-ins of the asphalt to the existing adjacent paved surfaces; structural improvements to the roadway which may include concrete road base, spot base repairs or full base reconstruction; asphalt paving to specified depths. All existing commercial driveway tie-ins (asphalt, granular or concrete) will require restoration to match their pre-construction state; shaping and grading side slopes to maintain ditch grades and slopes; replacement of catch basin and manhole frames and covers; remediation of drainage issues; landscaping adjacent to replaced concrete; and other related work as necessary to complete described Deliverables Documents can be obtained from https://strathcona.bonfirehub.ca uestion Deadline 02/22/2024 at 2:00 PM MT
