Site work for a water / sewer project in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

2023 Water Main Replacement Project. There is no pre-bid meeting for this work. Replacing approximately 8,500 linear feet of water main to address undersized, aging, and deteriorating pipelines to minimize failures and improve fire flows. The project consists of water main replacement including valves and fire hydrants, tie-in of new mains to existing mains, replacement of service laterals up to existing water meters, blow-offs, air release valves, fittings, and associated appurtenances. In general, the work includes the water main and service replacements at various locations in the City of Martinez. The work includes, but is not limited to the following. Engineer's Estimate $3,367,010. A certified check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will fulfill the terms of the bid. The City of Martinez reserves the right to refuse any or all proposals or bids or portions thereof.
