for the STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AT INTERSECTION OF JOHN TIPTON BOULEVARD & US Rt. 130, TOWNSHIP OF PENNSAUKEN, CAMDEN COUNTY. The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named Project includes milling and paving 2" thick using hot mix asphalt 12.5M64 surface course, the removal of an existing trench drain and the installation of storm sewer improvements as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within Ten (10) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Township of Pennsauken" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made unless and until the necessary funds have been provided by the Township of Pennsauken in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through the Township of Pennsauken. The Township of Pennsauken intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. The Township of Pennsauken reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets.
