Renovation of a municipal facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

San Francisco Ferry Terminal Security Improvements. This public works project consists of, in general, refurbishing the existing employee and visitor parking lots, constructing a new solar carport system, installing new electric vehicle charging stations, removing the existing electric power supply and installing a new power supply at the District's San Rafael Bus Facility located at 1011 Andersen Drive, San Rafael, CA 94901. The work includes: minor building and pavement demolition; earthwork; survey and field verifications; cold planing of existing asphalt concrete pavement; hot mix asphalt overlay; concrete curbs and gutters; reinforced concrete; drainage improvements; pavement marking; signage; traffic control; solar carport system consisting of CIDH piling, steel supports and framing and solar panels; electric vehicle charging stations installation; lighting; coordination with PG&E for removal of existing and installation of a new electrical transformer; transformer concrete pad, bollards, conduits. Scope of Work. CONTRACTOR shall perform all the Work and furnish all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, services and incidentals required to complete all the Work of construction and installation of the improvements more particularly described in the Bid Documents entitled. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit either in the form of cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bidder's Bond, as described in the Contract Documents, which shall be applied to damages sustained by the District if the successful Bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract awarded to it. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total price of the Contract. District will retain five percent (5%) from each invoice/billing statement submitted in connection with the Contract. Bidders are strongly encouraged to obtain Disadvantaged and Small Business Enterprise (DBE/SBE) participation on this Project. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding procedure. No Bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of opening bids. **Pre-Bid Meeting description While attendance at this conference and the job site tour is not mandatory, the District highly recommends you attend. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, bidders are notified that all state and local public health orders will be followed during the pre-bid conference. Depending on such requirements then in force, wearing of face masks and social distancing may be required.
