--THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY--- The Government is conducting a request for information to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to replace the steel-rubber inflatable dam bladder at Reservation Dam on Lake Traverse, MM. The Reservation Highway steel-rubber inflatable dam bladders were installed in 2000 on Lake Traverse. There are 11 gates, each supported by a pneumatically controlled rubber-fabric air bladder. See attach drawings. The same air bladders have been in service for almost 24 years. USACE is requesting information to the following questions: When air bladders are replaced, what other components should also be replaced Hinge, J-bulb seal, straps
What are the service lifetimes for the various components of the dam
Are the air bladders standardized replacement parts
Does the manufacturer provide replacement instructions and recommissioning procedures with the purchase of new air bladders"
