West Sound Utility District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide rehabilitation services for its Well 14. Well 14 is an 8-inch diameter well located at 2764 Water Lane SE in Port Orchard, Washington 98366. The well was deepened in 1997 to its current depth of 893 feet and is completed with a 10-foot, 5-inch diameter tailpipe from 885 to 895 feet below ground surface (bgs) and 26 feet of 5-inch diameter, 30-slot, stainless-steel screen set from 811 to 837 feet bgs and 35 feet of 5-inch diameter, 30-slot, stainless-steel screen set from 850 to 885 feet bgs. The 5-inch diameter riser assembly extends up to 770 feet bgs and has a filter pack of 8-12 Colorado Silica sand. The District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to West Sound Utility District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid .
