Pedestrian Bridge. 1) Furnish, Install, Maintain, and Remove Traffic Control and Erosion Control Devices 2) Construct Pedestrian Path Bridge Approaches 3) Remove Existing Concrete Footing in Cedar Creek 4) Construct New Bridge on Existing Footing 5) Construct Pedestrian Rails 6) Concrete Repair of Existing East Footing 7) Install Utility Hangers on Existing 4" Diameter Sewer Line 8) Asphalt Pavement Saw Cutting 9) Perform Additional and Incidental Work as Called for by the Specifications and Plans This Solicitation is for a Public Works Project Subject to Ors 279c.800 to 279c.870. This Project is Subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, as Specified in the Bid Documents. The Agency is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This Project Contains a 0% Dbe Goal. Pre-qualification With Odot and Linn County is Required. Pursuant to Ors 279c.430 Pre-qualification Applications Must Be Filed With Odot at Least Ten (10) Days Prior to the Bid Opening Date. If prior prequalification approval is not already on file with Linn County, at least 5 Calendar Days prior to the bid opening, submit a copy of the prequalification application that was submitted to ODOT to the Linn County Engineer. All bidders (prime contractors) must be qualified within the appropriate class(es) of work listed below and as stated in the Contract Specifications for this project. The Agency will reject bids from bidders who are not prequalified for the class(es) of work indicated. The Class of Work for this Project is: Bridges and Structures. The Solicitation Documents for the "Cedar Creek (Mill City) Pedestrian Bridge" project may be reviewed at 3010 Ferry Street SW, Albany, Oregon 97322. Linn County May Reject Any Bid Not in Compliance With All Prescribed Public Procedures and Requirements, and May Reject for Good Cause Any or All Bids Upon a Finding of the Agency That It is in the Public Interest to Do So.
