The Forsyth R-III School District is accepting sealed bids for an annual Mowing Services Contract for the grounds of the District Campus All potential bidders can contact Grant Boyer for questions regarding the Mowing Services Contract and bid forms. In addition to attending the pre-bid meeting, all potential bidders must, on or before the Bid Date (1) submit a properly executed Mowing Bid Form (2) submit a letter of qualifications and two recent references for commercial, industrial, or institution lawn mowing experience with contact information, and (3) submit an equipment list that would be used in maintaining the District grounds. The successful bidder agrees to enter into and be bound by and subject to the Mowing Services Contract which will be provided to all potential bidders. All potential bidders shall review and be familiar with the terms of the Mowing Services Contract. In general, but not subject to the Mowing Services Contract, the contract for bid will consist of: Mowing, trimming around all structures, trees, landscaping, etc., edging all sidewalks, driveways, etc., blowing all sidewalks and driveways free of grass clippings and other debris, and removal of trash that has been mowed over, trimmed, etc. All services are to be performed at the Forsyth R-III School District Campus on a weekly schedule. As set forth in the Mowing Services Contract, it shall be mandatory upon the successful bidder to provide current proof of Standard Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance and Commercial Liability Insurance that meets District Policy throughout the contract agreement. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least 60 days. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any information in bids received.
