**As of March 1, 2024, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $301,957.49** Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course on a portion of Branch Road and all of Blooming Glen Road. The successful bidder will be required to pay online a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via online ) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township. Bidder shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). Attention is drawn to the fact that this project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act 442) as amended; and that the successful bidder shall pay no less than the minimum wage rates determined for the project and set forth in the specifications. Statement of contractor PennDOT prequalified as a prime contractor must be included with all bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance; Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 15% of the contract price; with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications. Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be based on the Total Base Bid or total alternate base bid at the discretion of the Township and will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
