The Project includes the following Work: Constructing a new 16" water main, valves, hydrants, and associated appurtenances via the traditional open-cut method. Connections to existing water main and the required water main sizes can be seen in the plan set. Site Address: Interstate Boulevard Bid security of 5% is required. This project is funded partly by a Rebuild Illinois Public Infrastructure grant and the selected contractor(s) must comply with the regulations of DCEO's Rebuild Illinois Grant Programs, as indicated in the City of Loves Park's Rebuild Illinois Public Infrastructure Grant Agreement #22-92101. This Rebuild Illinois Public Infrastructure Project is subject to the following laws and regulations: Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/). Illinois Works Jobs Program Act (30 ILCS 559/20). Business Enterprise Program for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act ("BEP") (30 ILCS 575/0.01 et seq.). Loves Park's Rebuild Illinois Grant Project #22- 921015 has an overall Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Goal of 25% - 20% of this goal is for MBE's and 5% of this goal is for WBE's. This combined BEP utilization goal is based on the availability of State-certified vendors to perform the anticipated direct subcontracting opportunities of the Utilization Plan (UP). The BEP Utilization Plan is included as an attachment in the Plans/Specifications for this project. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). ***Document Note: All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website.
