Site work for a mixed-use development in Tavernier, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.

The Monroe County School District reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities when it is in the best interest of the Board to do so. All proposals must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days or until the MCSB approves the contract. The School Board will automatically reject the response of any person or affiliate who appears on the convicted vendor list prepared by the Department of General Services, State of Florida, under Section 287.133(3) (d), F.S. (1997). Recommendation to the District School Board of Monroe County will be based upon a proposal(s) that represent the best interest of the District and award of the contract will be deemed by the board to be in the best interest of Monroe County. This contract is for all material, labor, and equipment needed to resod the entire area bound by the track of the Coral Shores HS athletic field. The area in to be resodded is approximately 119,000 square feet. The selected Contractor shall be required to use BIMINI Bermuda Turfgrass, or equivalent approved in writing by the District prior to submission of bid by Contractor. In addition to the cost of materials, the contractor shall include the following services in their bidded price: removal of the old sod; reshaping of the field crown; and installation of the new sod. The contractor shall also provide the following and include in their bidded price: all sand needed to reshape the crown, ten (10) tons of Calcined Clay (turface MVP), and starter fertilizer beyond the initial application into prepared soil. Monroe County School District reserves the right to award an additional contingency of up to ten percent (10%) of submitted price to cover unforeseen conditions or owner-requested changes to scope of work. This projectisto start on May 17, 2024. Sod shall be fully installed by June 30, 2024. All work must be completed by July 15, 2024
