Confederate Memorial Park Roof Replacements And Window Refit. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Alabama Historical Commission (Owner's legal title) in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. This is a sales tax exempt project. D. The Work consists of re-roofing including, but not limited to, the following: 1. The Work includes removal of existing wood shingles, flashing, and wood trim. 2. The Work includes synthetic wood shingles. 3. The Work includes metal flashing. 4. The Work includes exterior architectural woodwork. 5. The Work includes painting (white washing). E. As Alternates (see Section 01230) the Owner may choose to add the following Work: 1. Re-roof the Church and Post Office. 2. Re-roof the Library and replace its windows. 3. Re-roof the Pavilion. F. The Work will be constructed under a single prime contract.
