Site work and new construction of a laboratory facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 187,000-square-foot laboratory facility; and for site work for a laboratory facility.

Construction is underway and completion by June/July 2027. The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory seeks qualified General Contractors for pre- construction professional services and construction of a New State Crime Laboratory. This facility is to include, but not limited to, a modern medical examination section, multiple modern forensic laboratory areas, evidence storage, various sized meeting rooms, office space, vehicle storage, secured and discreet delivery area, secured reception, and multiple parking areas. The estimated square footage is 187,000 and sitework is to be included in this project. The Prevailing Wage Rates shall not apply to this project. The State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit proposals for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities.
