All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of 5% of the base bid payable to Spartanburg County School District Six, Board of Trustees. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of Thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the consent of the owner.
