**As of March 26, 2024 project abandoned. No plan to rebid at this time.** The City of Emporia is currently soliciting bids for a project or projects in its Vacant Property Improvement Program. Bids need to include the entire project(s) and submitted only by general/building contractors. Contact information for subcontractors is available at the city. If you cannot attend the Bid Tour(s) and want to be kept up to date on any bid spec. revisions, you must contact the City Housing Office. When bidding, please provide itemized costs for all items. Use the bid sheets provided by the city to submit bids. Other forms, drawings, etc. may be submitted in addition to the standard bid sheets. All contractors must be licensed by the City of Emporia and carry all appropriate insurances. Information on contractor requirements can be obtained from the city at 620-343-4270.
