Water Treatment Chemicals The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, either by item or as an entire package. Awarded item(s) shall be considered a one (1) year requirement contract. Provided with the proposals is an estimated 2024 usage totals. These figures represent approximate 2024 requirements. The City of Emporia makes no guarantee(s) for 2024 chemical quantity purchases. Purchases will be based solely on actual quantities purchased. Prices stated shall be considered firm for the remainder of the 2024 calendar year, commencing April 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. Any price increase must be accompanied by a sixty (60) day prior notification. Either party may elect to terminate the contract with a written thirty (30) day notification. Proposals will be considered valid for thirty (30) days after the opening date.
