Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Doraville, Georgia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of July 8, 2025, a design firm has been selected for the project. A timeline for bidding and construction has not been confirmed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Doraville (the Community) is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide consultant services for preliminary engineering to support safety, equity, and multimodal access in Doraville along the multicultural Buford Highway corridor at the key intersections of I-285, Longmire Way, McElroy Road, and Oak cliff Road through pedestrian improvements. A DBE goal of 15 percent must be met in this project’s Preliminary Engineering (PE) phase. DBE participation is encouraged by prime contracting, sub-contracting, joint-venture or mentor/ protégé relationship. Deadline for submission of written questions and requests for clarification 06/14/2024 12:00 PM Questions about any aspect of the RFQ, or the project, shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to Austin Shelton at austin.shelton@doravillega.us. The Community reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs or Technical Approach, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the Community.
