PROJECT DESCRIPTION: SITE 1- EASTER BOWL TANK: o Pipe and overflow modifications, welding, testing and painting o Catch basin steel and formwork; and drainage modifications o Concrete ring foundation excavation; steel and formwork; concrete pouring, backfill and asphalt restoration o Steel chair anchors welding; testing, bolt installation, painting o Remove existing roof plates, clean, and prepare for painting, remove 36 existing roof rafters, remove and replace roof vents and dollar plate; and paint the interior. Paint tank interior o Site cleanup and restoration o Tank disinfection and bacteriological testing SITE 2 - GLENLOCH TANK o Pipe and overflow modifications, welding, Tideflex fittings installation, testing, painting, inspection o Catch basin steel and formwork; concrete pour; and drainage modifications o Inlet/Outlet pipe modifications. Excavation; welding, testing; annulus fill; excavation backfill and restoration o Tank disinfection and bacteriological testing The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs is approximately $1,400,000 to $1,800,000 Work shall be completed within 180 Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work.
