Northeast Waterworks (NEWW) Standpipe with application of Coating systems and related services. bid deposit is required as indicated on the Invitation to Bid, each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond signed by a surety company
authorized to do business in Illinois, a cashier's check or a certified check. For construction projects the bid deposit shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid. The Water Utility is seeking lump sum proposals for the for the Cleaning, Repair, and Painting the Exterior, the exterior within PAS 15D, Dry Interior, Wet Interior, and Concrete Foundation of Naperville Northeast Waterworks (NEWW) Standpipe with application of Coating systems and related services as depicted within this Bid. Liquidated Damages:
1. OWNER and CONTRACTOR recognize that time is of the essence and that OWNER will suffer financial loss and the OWNER'S ability to provide the public with a safe drinking water supply may be impaired if the Work is not completed within the times specified, plus any extensions thereof allowed. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any nonconformity in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of the City.
