The qualified vendor shall supply labor, equipment, supplies and material associated with the 2024 Lead Water Service Replacement Program. The work consists of but not limited to full replacement of approximately 40 lead water services. New service installations include 1 1/2 " copper between the water main and curb stop, and 1" copper between the curb stop and the meter inside the building or dwelling. Additionally, surface restoration items such as sidewalk, driveways, roadway patching and sodding. The breakdown of the 20% includes: 11% minority-owned businesses; 7% women-owned businesses; and 2% businesses owned by persons with a disability The start date for this project will not be earlier than April 1, 2024, unless approved by the Engineer. All work under this contract shall be complete by October 31, 2024 Bid security in the form of a certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Naperville, or a satisfactory bid bond, in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid must be BOTH.
