A selection committee will evaluate all SOQs submitted; however, the RFQ does not commit the City to award a subsequent agreement, to pay for any costs incurred in preparation or presentation of an SOQ, or to procure a contract for services. The selection considerations for evaluating the SOQ are included in this RFQ following the "Contents and Requirements" section. Once the qualifications have been evaluated, 2-3 firms will be selected for placement on the oncall list of consulting firms to provide Architectural Services for CIP projects. The on-call list will then be recommended by Staff to City Council for approval. The City of Modesto will be constructing various capital improvement program projects over the next several years. The City is looking for on-call architectural design services from firms with established experience in architectural design. In addition, this RFQ process will select 2-3 firms that will be placed on pre-qualified list to provide architectural services. The City may hire an architectural design firm on an as-needed basis. The City reserves the right to conduct separate selection processes for individual services if the City determines, within its sole discretion, it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
