UIHC - South Wing - LL - FNS Kitchen Ceiling Replacement Project #1064201 UIHC #224-3854 If there are any questions, please contact UI Design & Contruction, Chet Wieland, Project Manager - (319) 335-5500 Question Deadline 02/23/2024 Each Bidder shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for receipt of bids, shall make written request to the Design Professional for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which may be discovered. Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. The project consists of, but is not limited to replacing approximately 5,175 total square feet of the metal panel ceilings of Food and Nutrition Services Kitchen on Lower Level of the South Wing with new 2x2 metal ceiling tiles in selected corridors, kitchens and storage areas. Ceiling updates will include new light fixtures and diffuser / return / exhaust grilles replacement. All other ceiling-associated devices are to be uninstalled and reinstalled after the new ceiling system is complete. Work will be conducted over multiple phases.
