Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Shawnee County Parks and Recreation Department (SCP+R) is soliciting sealed bids for asphalt work to renovate the existing gravel parking lot at Dornwood Park, 2815 SE 25th Street, per the following minimum requirements. SCP+R is requesting bids to overlay the current gravel parking lot on the east side of Dornwood Park with three and a half inches (3.5") of hot mix asphalt and compact surface. This is a turn-key project that includes: 1. Grading the existing gravel to level surface and stabilize the base. 2. Cut down base along concrete to allow smooth transitions. 3. Cut back edges to straighten and define. 4. Remove excess rock and compact subgrade. 5. Approximate square footage to be surfaced is 29,219 square feet. 6. Striping lot as needed. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required to complete this project.
