Site work and paving for a road / highway in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Q And A Close2/21/2024 11:30:00 PM This project includes curb and gutter repair along with sidewalk repair at various North Topeka West locations as shown in Exhibit A, Project Location Maps. The work shall consist of Curb & Gutter and Sidewalk replacement at the general locations shown on the included Exhibit A Project Location Maps. The intent of this project is to replace the curb and gutter with Combined Curb & Gutter (Type Varies) without damaging the existing adjacent and/or abutting sidewalks or drive approaches, and establishing new sidewalk. Additionally, a contingency quantity has been included for the replacement of 6" concrete transitions between back of new curb and the existing driveway approach, on an as-needed basis as determined by the Project Mgr. or COT Inspector. The specific limits of the work will be marked, (white-lined) by City of Topeka staff prior to construction. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the project quantities and acknowledges these additions/deletions may increase or decrease project quantities and Contractor compensation based on the unit prices bid. There will be no increase or decrease in unit prices associated with any addition/deletion in quantity.
