The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to establish an annual contract for construction and demolition debris disposal from the Town of Vienna, in accordance with the specifications herein. The Town of Vienna will use its own trucks to haul various materials to the facility for disposal such as: construction materials, rubble, dirt, mud, concrete, asphalt, and plasterboard. The facility must be within a 30 mile radius of the Town of Vienna, 300 Mill Street NE. The estimated tonnage per year is as follows: Single Axle or Tandem Dump Trucks 2,000 Tons Question Submission Deadline April 12, 2024, 2:00pm If any prospective bidder/offeror has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, the prospective bidder/offeror should contact the Procurement Officer or the person whose name appears on the face of solicitation NO LATER THAN SEVEN (7) WORKING DAYS BEFORE opening/closing date. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by the Procurement Officer. D The resulting contract will cover an initial period from the date of award and end on June 30, 2025. At the sole discretion of the Town of Vienna, and upon mutual written agreement with the Contractor, this contract can be renewed for an additional four (4) years, in one (1) year increments, at the expiration of its terms by mutual written agreement of the Contractor and the Town of Vienna. The Town of Vienna will make an investigation as to the ability of the bidder to perform the work. The Town of Vienna reserves the right to reject any bid, if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of bidder, fails to satisfy the Town that such bidder is properly qualified by experience and financial status to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein. Conditional bids will not be accepted.
