The project includes renovations to the entrance of Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, material, and labor in accordance with the project manual. The installer must submit proof demonstrating at least 10 years completing installations similar in material, design, and extent to that indicated for the project and whose work has a record of successful inservice performance. Installer to maintain an experienced full-time, English-speaking supervisor on Project site. A list of three (3) past projects similar in scope to this project, including names and telephone numbers of Owners/operators and date of project installation shall be submitted with the bid. References must be projects installed within the last two (2) years. Five percent bid bond or certified check must be submitted with the sealed bid for all base bids over $500,000. The bid bond or certified check shall be for 5% of the bid. All bids and bid bonds shall remain valid for ninety (90) days. Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds shall be required of the successful bidder for all contracts awarded over $500,000. 2 If the Work is not Substantially Completed within the time required, as that time may be adjusted by Change Orders, there shall be imposed on the Contractor Liquidated Damages of $300.00 per calendar day for each day beyond the Contract Time it takes to substantially complete the Work.
