Site work for a water / sewer project in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Removal of a 10,000 gallon fuel underground storage tank (UST) and fuel dispenser pump, soils testing/remediation if needed, removal and disposal of the UST/fuel dispenser, and replacement concrete/asphalt. The tank and dispenser were used to refuel State fleet vehicles as well as Capitol Complex grounds department equipment. There was a leak detected in the fiberglass fuel line between the UST and fuel dispenser and both were taken off line. Soil testing did confirm some soil contamination within that area. The UST and fuel dispenser have also been in place for 35 years and are past the 30 year life expectancy.
