The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed project is located on Tonto National Forest (TNF) lands in Gila County, on Houston Mesa Road approximately three miles north of the Town of Payson. The project begins at State Route 260 and extends north along the Houston Mesa Road from MP 0.02 to MP 4.54. The proposed work consists of constructing Asphaltic Concrete paved shoulders, installing rumble strips, removing and replacing guard rail, removing and replacing cattle guards, extending pipes, pavement markings, signing and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 155 working days.
