The objective of this contract is to perform stump grinding, stump spoil removal and site restoration work typically between the curb and sidewalk in the right of way throughout the City of Milwaukee bounded by the following geographical areas. Time for Completion: All assigned work, up to the maximum contract dollar amount, shall be completed no later than November 8, 2024 beginning five (5) working days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Anticipated start date (when the Notice to Proceed may be issued]: approximately April 15, 2024. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SBE Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate SBE Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive.
