Site work and paving for a civil project in Spencerville, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Request for Tenders (the "RFT") is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the "County") for the provision of replacement of the County Road 44 Cross Culverts. The following is a brief description of the work, but not limited to: - Mobilization / demobilization, environmental protection and site clean-up; - Establish traffic control and detour to accommodate full road closure; - Erection of temporary sheet pile / cofferdam system(s) and by-pass system(s); - Remove existing CSP culverts, staged as required; - Construct suitable subgrade using shot rock (rip-rap) with geotextile topped by a bedding of clear stone wrapped in geotextile; - Install new precast twin-concrete box culverts and cut-off walls, and complete backfill operations; - Install concrete distribution slab over new culverts; - Pave road approaches; - Widen roadway shoulders and install new steel beam guide rail with appropriate end treatments; and - Restore embankments and disturbed areas.
