Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Clayton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a 38,394-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The scope of the project encompasses approximately 35,000 sqft two story classroom addition. The structure will consist of cast in place retaining walls for a walk out ground floor, load bearing masonry and structural steel. The façade will feature storefront, curtain wall, brick veneer, and standing seam roofing. An alternate will be considered for a 3,500 sqft connector addition located in the middle of the existing campus. A minimal renovation scope will also be considered as an alternate.
