As of March 20, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Replace selected areas of flooring in front lower level areas. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required for a complete installation, including but not limited to: - Verify quantities and existing conditions before bidding - Work to be delivered in two phases per attached sketch - Work to be done during normal weekday business hours. Evenings and weekends may be available upon request - Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations - Verify existing site conditions before bidding. Notify owner of potential conflict before commencing work. - Furniture will be removed and reset by the Owner - Protect all areas from damage and construction dust. Clean, Repair, or Replace any disturbance or damage caused by construction operations to pre-existing conditions or better. - Remove existing flooring, accessories, adhesives, and fasteners. - Prepare substrate by industry standards to ensure smooth and sound installation. - Install J&J Legend 5mm V5010 LVT flooring in Phases I and II (see attached specs) *or approved equal - Install Aladdin Walk All Over carpet tile in foyer (see attached specs) *or approved equal - Install appropriate transitions to existing flooring, walls, thresholds, etc. suitable for heavy duty traffic. - Install wood quarter-round at wood base/casework, stain finish or other to match existing - Legally dispose of all removed and excess materials from site. - Comply with manufacturer instructions and provide all applicable warranties Payment will be net 30 days after completion and receipt of approved invoice Questions: Submit in writing to Owner's Rep no later than (1) week prior to bid opening date/time. Questions must be received by the City at least two (2) working days prior to the submittal deadline. No oral interpretations or instructions given by any city employee or any other person shall apply. Changes relative to any solicitation will be in writing, in the form of an addendum. Owner Rights: Issuance of a request for quotation does not commit the City to make an award. The City reserves the right to postpone or reject any or all submittals, to waive informalities and to accept the itq judged to be in the best interest of the City. The City also reserves the right to award this product/service based on other contracts in-place (state or cooperative contracts), as may be in our best interest. All costs associated with default will be borne by the contractor. The City reserves the right to remove a company in default from the active vendor list for a time period to be determined by the Director of Purchasing. Unless otherwise stated, the City reserves the right to purchase like items at the same contract price for a period of one year from the award date subject to agreement of both parties. The City may cancel any contract for cause following written notification of intent.
