The USAFA 10th Contracting Squadron is requesting information from potential providers of Carpet Repair and Replacement Services. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA700024Q0026 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought. United Sates Air Force Academy (USAFA) anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 238330, Flooring Contractors, with a small business size standard of $19 Million USD. This sources sought is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado has a service requirement to repair and replace carpet and accessories as specified by the government, in a manner that will maintain satisfactory facility conditions and present a neat, clean, and professional appearance. The work will occur in multiple buildings on the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado. All references to specifications within this Performance Work Statement (PWS) require the use of the most current editions of reference materials. The contractor will provide qualified supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, materials and other items or services as needed. Contract type being considered is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5-year ordering period. The estimated period of performance is anticipated to be 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2029. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
