Illinois Community College District 509, Elgin Community College, Kane County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for02A-1 Demolition for the Elgin Community College - DHangout Building Demolition. The bid response must be delivered in a sealed envelope on the date and time specified. Late,faxed or e-mailed bids will not be considered. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that the submission is delivered at the time and place set forth herein. All submissions are subject to the conditions specified herein. SCOPE OF WORK The project consists of complete demolition and removal of the existing structure and foundation along with limited site work demolition. Contractors' qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated's office by February 26, 2024. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract.Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this project.
