Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City is looking to improve an existing 37,000 SF parking lot located at the southeast corner of Galena Blvd. and LaSalle St. The proposed improvements include curb/gutter removal replacement, asphalt pavement patching and resurfacing, and striping. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract. The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The City is looking to improve an existing 37,000 SF parking lot located at the southeast corner of Galena Blvd. and LaSalle St. The proposed improvements include curb/gutter removal and replacement, asphalt pavement milling and resurfacing, and striping. Note that the existing island located at the entrance, as well as the single-story building shown on the plans as 16 S. LaSalle, will be completely demolished and removed from the site prior to commencement of these improvements. All questions must be submitted to PurchasingDL@aurora.il.us by 2 pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 There will be no pre-bid meeting for this RFB Obtain Final completion of the entire project by July 1, 2024
